The Arion edition of the literary masterpiece of the Harlem
Renaissance, Cane by Jean Toomer, incorporates ten woodblock prints
by renowned sculptor Martin Puryear in a large-format artist book. Special
leather-bound copies in a wooden slipcase created by Puryear include an
extra suite of signed prints.
The Arion folio Bible presents the contemporary translation
and current scholarship of the New Revised Standard Version. Printed by
letterpress on mouldmade paper using type cast in the Press's historic foundry,
the Arion Bible features red initial letters, illuminated by hand in gold
and colors, and hand-binding. Orders are being accepted for fall 2000 publication.
