Supercaster acquired for M & H Type

For the typefoundry, we have acquired a late model English Supercaster from Woodside Press in Brooklyn, New York. The Supercaster will allow us to cast from 14-36 point American and English matrices, as well as 42-72 point English matrices. The Supercaster is a great addition to our already large collection of casting equipment. Our holdings include six Monotype Composition casters, six Thompson casters, one "Orphan Annie", one Material Maker, and one Elrod. In the fall, typecaster Kenny Howard will be traveling to West Virginia to receive training from Rich Hopkins on the specifics of the new caster. Fonts will be available for purchase shortly thereafter.
