Venue Rental – Arion Press Gallery, San Francisco

Arion Press provides contemporary meeting and event space at a distinctive arts venue in the Presidio National Park. Our beautiful 2,000 square foot gallery, with sweeping views of Mountain Lake Park, ample natural light, and numerous amenities, is available for rental to benefit the nonprofit Grabhorn Institute.

A 1928 industrial building in a quiet landscaped park, the Arion Press gallery space is a stylish and unique alternative to a hotel banquet room downtown. It is suitable for: receptions, meetings, cocktail parties, educational forums, and dinners. Combined with tours of our historic book making facility, it has been a popular choice for design and media businesses, corporate meetings, clubs, college groups, and private celebrations. Housing the nation’s last complete letterpress printing operation, the building is designated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The 2,000 square foot gallery is set among lawns and overlooks Mountain Lake Park and San Francisco’s charming western neighborhoods. It has a private entrance and an adjacent, full sized catering kitchen, two bathrooms, and is wheelchair accessible. Its decor includes prints and photographs by major artists from Arion Press editions, as well as displays of the Press’s handcrafted limited edition books. Guests may also enter via the printing displays and artwork at the main entrance.
